Classes
Capital Stage hosts several classes and workshops throughout the season through our CapStage Academy program as a part of our mission to provide our community with opportunities for skill development in the performing arts, and to expand the base of working artists in the greater Sacramento region. With SCUSD
As part of CLARA’s partnership with Sacramento City Unified School District, Capital Stage is currently providing 5th and 6th grade students at Hollywood Park Elementary School with 10-week in-school theatre artist residencies, and students at Luther Burbank High School with artist residencies and access to a performance of The Alchemist through CLARA’s Arts Up Front workshops. They also teach the improv and theatre games classes for CLARA Performing Arts Camp.
