Where is CLARA?
CLARA (E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts) is located in the former Fremont School, with the main entrance at 2420 N St in midtown Sacramento. The CLARA Auditorium has a separate entrance, on 24th St near O Street.
What is the parking situation?
CLARA is lucky to have plentiful parking! The city streets around CLARA offer free two-hour parking; the side of the street touching CLARA allows patrons to park there for six hours, and we have a dedicated parking lot attached to the building – the main entrance to that lot is on O St between 24th and 25th.
Where am I going?
CLARA is a 47,000 square foot building, taking up an entire city block. We invite you to take a look at our directory, below, to find the location of the cultural group you’re visiting.
Are CLARA and the CLARA Auditorium ADA-accessible?
Yes. Reserved parking for cars with disabled placards is available in the west side of the lot, immediately next to the Auditorium and in front of the entrance to Sacramento Ballet.
The Sacramento Ballet entrance is the most easily-accessible entrance for someone using a wheelchair, but if you are planning to go to the second floor, you may wish to park in the courtyard and use the interior courtyard ramp to enter the building, right next to the building’s elevator. Building entrances which are accessible by ramps are indicated on the building map with blue squares.
